There Are 83 Million Fake Facebook Accounts (FB)

Boo on Facebook
According to Facebook's 10-Q filing, the social media site has approximately 83 million fake accounts.
Here is the breakdown from the quarterly filing:
4.8% are duplicate accounts where users have more than one account.
2.4% of accounts are misclassified accounts, where users either create personal accounts for companies, organizations, a pet, or other non-human being.
1.5% are "undesirable accounts." Spamming accounts fall under this category.
This brings the total of fake accounts to 8.7% of Facebook accounts, or 83 million users. So, the number of active accounts is only 872 million.
This number is up from its initial claim in its IPO filing earlier this year, where the social media stated 5-6% of Facebook accounts were bogus.
