Fried Chicken in Space

If you happen to be perusing Google Earth in central Nevada right about here,
you may notice something that stands out from the otherwise barren desert landscape;
"Colonel Sanders".

It makes giving directions easy.

Though the giant KFC logo might look like it’s superimposed on the map,
it actually does exist. KFC’s advertisers decided to take advantage of Google Earth’s newfound popularity about five years ago by building their largest corporate logo ever in the Nevada desert specifically to have it photographed by satellites used for commercial map programs.
