Kimberly Snyder, who has advised everyone from Drew Barrymore to Dita Von Teese, details 85 of her tried and tested beautifying recipes in a new book titled The Beauty Detox Foods.
Insider tips include munching on bananas to banish under-eye bags and drinking coconut water to erase the effects of a hangover.
All of her meal plans are gluten and dairy-free, and based on everyday products found in grocery stores.
She explains in her lifestyle guide that all of the ingredients used, which are high in minerals and fiber, will 'help cleanse and unclog the waste from the intestines so that your body can start to absorb nutrients optimally.'
Her mantra is building 'beauty from the inside-out'.
'Many clients see more glowing skin and improved energy in as little as three days. Weight will come off steadily, but more importantly stay off,' she told MailOnline.
Starting with the skin, Ms Snyder suggests her Glowing Green Smoothie; a go-to breakfast drink for stars like Drew Barrymore, Olivia Wilde, Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn.
The vitamin-packed juice consists of blended romaine lettuce, celery, spinach, apple, pear, banana and lemon juice.
'I always start with my Glowing Green Smoothie, and drink 32-40 ounces throughout the morning,' she said.
Other complexion-boosting foods she recommends is pineapple, which can help promote the production of collagen, flax seeds, for an injection of essential fatty acids and avocados, which are loaded with vitamins C, E and K.

While pumpkin seeds are a good source of zinc, sulfur and vitamin A - three compounds which help promote strong and healthy hair.
They also contain B vitamins, to prevent thinning and boost growth.

Ms Snyder, who is against calorie-counting, highlights that the detox is a long-term program and 'needs to take place continuously to get the tangible results you are after.'
And if the shift takes place too quickly, she warns that devotees can feel, or become ill.
'My Beauty Detox program is a lifestyle, not a short-term liquid fast or diet. I speak of detox as principles you need to incorporate on an ongoing basis. I always emphasize progress, not perfection,' she told MailOnline.
For those who don't want to sacrifice their favorite foods, Ms Snyder says that small dietary changes can still have a major impact.
One of the first things she recommends is cutting out diet soda and processed foods.
She explains that zero-calorie drinks often contain ingredients which can trigger dry skin and acne breakouts.
'They are zero calories but what I see them do to women’s and girl’s skin . . . It’s so full of acidic chemicals, it imbalances your body completely. There are just so many issues with soda,' she toldDaily Candy.
