Thanks to the US Air Force Research Laboratory who have invented laptop battery that will remain charged for 30 years! strange but true if we will see into how it works, we will find it quite correct and reasonable as well.
Betavoltaic power cell work on the principle of radioisotopes as energy sources. Radioactive material emits beta particles upon decaying which transforms into electrical energy which will keep the laptop working for years.
To add to the qualities there is no thermal reaction in the battery so there are no chances of getting over heated and the battery becomes non toxic after it runs out of power. Hopping this technology will soon hit the markets.
