The seventh black rhino population established by the WWF Black Rhino Range Expansion Project, was recently released after an epic 1500 kilometer (932 miles) trip across the country.
Nineteen of the critically endangered animals were moved from the Eastern Cape to a new location in Limpopo province.
This Black rhino was transported by Helicopter to an awaiting land vehicle.
The Helicopter trip last less than 10 minutes and enabled the darted rhino to be removed from difficult and dangerous terrain.
The sleeping animal suffered no ill effect.
